The education and awareness of those that are autistic or living with autism spectrum conditions is highly important. Autism as a whole was not completely understood until the 1980s, when it was finally recognized as a distinct health condition.
Understanding those that are autistic and appreciating what autistic children and adults go through everyday has greater value than I could ever put into words. This is why I have compiled a few links to scholarly articles on autism and other autism related conditions, such as Asperger’s.
